It’s a relevant topic today. We can’t just shy away from what's happening. Openly talking about such issues that plague the nation, is the only way to sensitise people,” said Jain, minutes before the play started. He is now planning to stage the same play at various theatres in Jaipur and other cities
Talking about the issue, Chanchal Sharma, the lead actor, said, “Women are not safe today. We, as women need to understand, that we don’t need to suffer in solitude but be ready to fight for our rights.” The one-hour-long play, did manage to leave an impact on the audience, who gave a standing ovation. “Things like this are still happening in our country. It was a nice attempt to highlight such issues and we much have such plays on an oft,” said Sushila Shivarana, a homemaker, who is at the moment vacationing in Jaipur.
